Quelle Surprise!

I got a phone call today from QuickQuid. The gist of it was that I'd taken out a £50  "payday loan" on the 6th July.

I had my bag stolen on the 3rd July complete with my phone and bank card.... Someone's obviously having some "fun" at my expense.....

I called 0808-234-4661 which was actually a USA call centre. Predictably they want the money (no surprise at nearly 2000% interest!!!) but when asked to provide a security or fraud department they put you through to an automated voicemail phone system..... They refuse to supply details of how the transaction was authorised....

Is it just me or are they messing me about? (adding insult to injury!)

About Me

I'm 18years old, living in a town of petty crime, teenage pregnancy is acceptable, drugs are taken as often as paracetamol, the expectations are low and everyone seems to live off benefits even though they are perfectly capable of earning a living.

I'm training to be a female Plumber which is a full-time course, full-time in nowadays education means 3days a week, I also work at Tesco, I'm contracted part-time hours but top it up with overtime working full-time hours. The reason I work these hours is not because I'm short of money, it's because I'm a typical teenage girl, I love shopping, make-up, dating and weekends out with my friends.

My life is extremely complex, family issues, boyfriends, friends, the stress of education and a lot more so I thought I'd share my life and find out how different or similar it is to other peoples.
